The Selene 72 Explorer has an LOA of 75’9” and a displacement of 72 tonnes. She comes with a choice of Cummins or John Deere twin engines and a single engine version is also available. With her 11,355 litres of fuel she is a perfect long range cruiser! Her cruising speed is 9 knots with a top speed of 11.5 knots.
Modern Styling
This model is an elegant combination of modern styling and the features of an ocean going vessel. It boasts a number of the Selene traits such as the signature raised pilothouse, Portuguese bridge, wide upper deck, and side-deck walk-arounds which provide safety and convenience for the guests and crew. The Selene 72 can also have a wide-body or semi-wide-body without the side decks, which results in larger interior accommodation. The design features large side windows in the hull and the curved, sleek lines of the flybridge.
Selene 72 Interior Features
This standard light and airy interior includes the usual available design options. Specifically, you can choose classic styling or modern wood features to suit your taste. The saloon is air-conditioned with an all-round view while cruising or at anchor. The lower deck of the Selene 72 Explorer has three guest cabins including a luxurious full-beam owner’s cabin with large windows at sea-level. The crew quarters are in the aft and comprise two cabins and private bathroom which consequently provides privacy for the guests. The crew have access through the transom door to a very large swim platform. This can feature a hydraulic tenderlift if required.
