The Selene 54 is an evolution of the Selene 53 – the most popular Selene model, introduced in 2002. Almost 120 boats have been launched – but all of them a little different. The LOA is actually 56′ 2″ or 17.12m giving a lot of space onboard. This model is the perfect cruising boat for a couple with live-aboard comfort and excellent long range cruising capability.
The Selene 54 boasts three guest cabins and two heads on the lower deck. On the main deck you will find a galley integrated with the saloon and the spacious pilot-house for which Selene are famous. On the upper deck, there is a spacious flybridge and boat deck to safely store the tender. The yacht is easily and safely handled by a couple, thanks to the secure walk around decks and Portuguese bridge. Great manoeverability with two steering stations, and bow thruster – plus optional stern thruster.
Selene 54 Interior Design
The interior layout is an expression of your own style. The standard teak or cherry classic interior displays the high class skills of the shipyard carpentry teams. Design features create a luxury feel for this yacht. You can also choose a more contemporary interior if you wish! As with all Selene Yachts you can customise to suit your taste and technical requirements. There are standard layout options for two cabins as well as three and various configurations for the galley and saloon.
An ocean going cruising yacht
The Selene 54 is a serious ocean going cruiser – the blogs of current owners crossing the Pacific and beyond are testimony to the capability. The latest hull to be launched is also crossing the South China Sea on her delivery voyage on her own bottom from Hong Kong to Thailand. The standard boat is configured with a single engine and bow thruster. But as with all Selene Yachts, you can choose your propulsion options to suit your needs. The shipyard offer several get-home options such as a 2nd engine, PTO get-home drive from a generator or a wing engine. The Selene 54 has extended cruising range and a fuel-effiicient package as a result of her standard single engine. In addition, the fuel polishing system, generator and optional hydraulic packages mean your Selene 54 will take you wherever you want to go.
